Afshar
   

Originally Afshar was an Turkish speaking nomadtribe. Today there are hardly any nomadizing Afshar left. They have all settled in the surrounding area of the city Kirman, and have been assimilated by the native population. As a consequence city designs from Kirman e.g. the vase motif, has been adapted in the designs of Afshar rugs.
