Pakistan Tekke and Bokhara rugs is originally inspired from turkmenian designtraditions. The Tekke tribe has a history as the greatest nomadtribe in Turkmenistan. 3-ply garanties that the rug is knotted with 3 threats of weft between each row. The quality of the wool is very soft and shiny and the motifs are simple in a decorative way. The tarantel motif, stylished stars and oktagons in a round shaped style is typical used on a ground of warm colours.
