Seneh
is the ancient name of the modern town Sanadadj. The formerly
common weaving technique giving the back of the rugs a rep-like
structure is dying out. Senneh rugs offered on the market today
are firmly knotted and have a smooth back. They also have a very
high quality and ae therefore often called Senneh Bidjar. The
price is considerable lower than for Bidjar rugs.
