Yalameh
is a tribe and a subgroup of the famous Gashqai nomads from the
province of Fars. Yalameh has for over 200 years been settled
in the catchment area of the city of Isfahan. The Yalameh rugs
are characterized by a colourfull and rich design.

Designs and colours: The surface is divided into
geometric figures, usually squares and rhombs as the basic pattern.
The background is rich decorated with small stars, animal figures,
flowers, cross and leafs in beatyfull colourvariations of strong
darkred, blue, olivegreen and beige.
